• Albion designed the KB bridle in conjunction with Klaus Balkenhol, international dressage trainer, after investigating the true needs of the horse.
• The poll, temple and cheeks have minimal areas of pressure contact, resulting in optimum levels of submission.
• The solid part of the bridle, which is the broad contact with the cushion, is now a combined noseband hanger and throat lash (both are not subjected to any tension from the bit or rein contact).
• The headpiece lies on top of the cushioned crown, thus minimising the influence of the bit contact pressure and dispersing this pressure over the maximum possible area.
• The browband, by conventional judgements, is always oversized.
